One of the things I’m starting to realize is that there are certain people in my life that I consider some of the dearest and closest people to my heart. Till this day, they still are. The unsettling truth is that, for them, I am one of the people on which the famous rule “change the people around you every 7 years” applies (even less in some cases)! In my mind, our relationship is as strong as it was back in its best days, but they have already moved on a long time ago, and now are living in today’s time zone!
